O que Montana exige

Montana's child care licensing rules (ARM 37.95), administered by the Department of Public Health and Human Services, require all active staff to hold current pediatric CPR and first aid, completed through hands-on training — the certification card must specifically read "Pediatric First Aid." CPR must cover adults, children and infants, new staff generally certify within 90 days, and it renews every two years.

Under Montana's Dane's Law, giving any medication — prescription or over-the-counter — to a child without the parent's written consent is a felony, and day care medication rules (ARM 37.95.181) require medicines to be stored where children cannot reach them. With consent and a child's care plan in place, trained staff should be ready to recognize anaphylaxis and use a prescribed epinephrine auto-injector without delay.
